Artificial coral FAQ
Is your artificial coral safe for fish and invertebrates?
Yes. Every material we use is tested and verified as non-toxic and non-leaching, and our aquarium pieces are sealed with marine-grade epoxy that is chemically inert in the water column. As a 30+ year AZA member, we build to the standards public aquariums and zoos require. See materials.
Will the color fade under aquarium lighting?
No. Color is never painted on — UV-stable pigments are built into the material itself, so pieces will not fade, chip or peel regardless of lighting.
Can I use it in a saltwater reef tank or a freshwater aquarium?
Yes — our coral is used in saltwater, freshwater and reef aquariums, public aquarium exhibits, zoo habitats and themed environments.
Can you make a species, size or color that isn’t in the shop?
Yes. The shop shows a selection of our 800+ piece catalog. We can color-match, resize or fabricate any species to your specifications — request a quote.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. We ship and install worldwide and work with clients across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
