Description:
Solitary tunicate, lavender to dark purple or brown. Tunic heavy and thick, siphons obvious, but not protruding.
Habitat:
Inhabit coral reefs. Hide most of the body in tight crevices or holes, exposing only the upper part of the body and siphons. Found till depths of 25 m.
Distribution:
Occasional South Florida, Bahamas and Caribbean.
